District 26 - Serving Colorado, Wyoming and Western Nebraska

Greetings, fellow D26 Toastmasters.

We are closing in on the halfway mark in our program year, Despite prevailing restrictions, there are still many opportunities for growth and innovation. What we focus on is where we go, so I’d like to highlight some of our achievements over the past six months. Four prospective clubs are in motion with their chartering process. 18 club coaches have been assigned to struggling clubs. Several clubs are showing interest in Speechcraft and have attended exemplar meetings where the program is being demonstrated. This is proving to be an excellent alternative for clubs that have yet to receive a coach.

We are launching external advertising campaigns at the beginning of the new year. Our research has shown that Western and Northern Divisions are currently in the most need of assistance. Also, we have on our D26 calendar a District-wide Guest Night scheduled for Wednesday, January 27, 2021. Our theme will be “Leadership & Communication in a Virtual World”. New skills are needed in the workplace, and Toastmasters is an excellent resource. Let’s help get 2021 off to a great start. Introduce your friends and families to our organization by inviting them to register for the big Guest Night! Here’s the link to our D26 calendar: www.d26toastmasters.org/our-calendar.
