District 26 - Serving Colorado, Wyoming and Western Nebraska

It is February, love is in the air. And, what do we love? Toastmasters!

We especially love when new clubs and members join this wonderful organization that we hold in such high regard. To that end, congratulations to the newly chartered club in District 26:

TU Mile High Toasters, chartered 01/24/19, #7112184

There are some positive leads that will likely generate actual clubs. If you have any leads, are interested in helping with kickoff meetings, or are interested in serving as a club sponsor or mentor, please contact me at CGD1819[at]nulld26leaders.org.

As of January 2019, District 26 has a new Retention Chair, Victoria Bard. Welcome Aboard! Toastmaster Bard is eager to assist with retention efforts, most specifically, finding qualified coaches for clubs needing revitalization. Toastmaster Bard developed the District 26 Club Coach Questionnaire, found here, as a way of streamlining the criteria for club coaches. Please contact me at CGD1819[at]nulld26leaders.org if you are interested in serving as a club coach or if you know of a club that is eligible for a coach.

Remember, in order for a club to quality for a coach, a club must have 1-12 members. Please also remember that until June 30, 2020, those serving as a club coach will receive district leader credit in addition to receiving club support credit.

As of February 1st, clubs may start collecting dues for the upcoming April dues renewal cycle. Timely payment of dues is required in order for maintaining good standing for the club, allowing interested members to compete in contests and allowing members continued access to the Pathways platform.
