Elected District Officers

Elected District Officers, under the legacy system, receive credit towards their Advanced Leader Silver (ALS) educational award when they actively serve 12 months. Elected District Officers following Pathways also receive credit toward the DTM award when serving for 12 months. Term is from July 1, 2019 through June 30, 2020. The 2019-2020 elected District Offices will be filled via elections during the Business Meeting at the Annual Conference tentatively scheduled for May 3-4, 2019.

Elected positions include any of the eight Division Director positions, Club Growth Director, Program Quality Director and District Director (as shown below).

Candidates must meet all qualifications and submit all completed forms to be rendered eligible for nomination.

Executive Leadership (aka The Trio)

Appointed (For Credit) District Positions

Appointed (for credit) District Officers, under the legacy system, receive credit towards their Advanced Leader Silver (ALS) educational award when they actively serve 12 months. Appointed (for credit) District Officers following Pathways also receive credit toward the DTM award when serving for 12 months.

The following District Officer positions are available for the 2019-2020 Toastmaster year. The incoming District Director will appoint candidates to the various positions.

The following Appointed District Leadership positions do not receive credit for serving. These awesome District Leaders have a passion for Toastmasters. They volunteer their time and skills to help District 26 achieve our mission. The incoming District Director will also appoint people to fill these positions. Would you like to help?

*The District is in critical need of applicants/CHAMPION VOLUNTEERS for eight Club Extension Coordinators  and eight Club Retention Coordinators to service the growth and club retention needs of each division in the District. This is YOUR opportunity to serve the district at a higher level if you meet qualifications or to refer others who are eligible for consideration. Please submit your forms or referrals for consideration today. 

Incumbents wishing to re-enlist for consideration for another term in appointed district officer positions (such as for-credit Area Directors, non-credit Extension and Retention Coordinators) are highly encouraged to do so. The District still needs you and will benefit greatly from your experience! Incumbents seeking other appointed positions, other than the positions they are currently serving or served in the past, are also encouraged to submit new applications as well.

When submitting a nomination please download, fill in, and email appropriate forms. If you are nominating yourself, please submit the Candidate Application, District Officer Biographical Info and the Officer Agreement and Release Statement.
