Talk Up Toastmasters

We are approaching mid-year for the Toastmasters program year.

To kick things off – Congratulations to the newly chartered clubs in District 26:

Gunbarrel Community Toastmasters Club, #6639075 – chartered 12/21/18
Platte County Toastmasters Club, #06924438 – chartered 01/03/19

The clubs are currently pending alignment and will soon be reflected in the appropriate Divisions and Areas.

In addition to adding new clubs to the District roster, now is a great time to think about how to add more members to our individual club rosters. With a new year, hopefully comes a refreshed and renewed spirit of encouraging others to become a part of this great organization.

Your club should have an individualized membership building program. If you don’t, what is preventing you?

Part of a club’s success plan is to recruit eight new members per year, and 12 new members per year is even better!

Here’s an opportunity for you and your club.

Beginning February 1st is the “Talk Up Toastmasters” membership building program.

How it works:

  • Add five new, dual or reinstated members with a join date between February 1 and March 31, and you’ll receive a special “Talk up Toastmasters” ribbon to display on your club’s banner.
  • Qualifying clubs can also earn a special discount code for 10-percent off their next club order. (The discount code expires six months from the date of issue and is not valid with any other offer.)
  • Applications and payments for members with a join date between February 1 and March 31 must be received at World Headquarters or online no later than March 31. The addition of transfer and charter members does not count towards “Talk Up Toastmasters” credit.
