District Speech Contest Policy – Photographs, Audio and Video Recordings
Per the Toastmasters Contest Rulebook: The taking of photographs during the speeches is not permitted.
District 26 Recording Policy must consider the safety of contestants and audience members

- Advance permission is required for all video and audio recordings.
- Written consent must be obtained beforehand from all speakers, presenters, and anyone who may appear in the recording.
- All participants and attendees that will be on camera must sign the Photo/Video Release Form.
- If permission is given to record, you must provide a free copy to any contestant who requests one.
- Contact Kimberly Angell, DTM, D26 Program Quality Director (kangell.programqualitydirector[at]d26leaders.org) for permission at least 2 weeks prior to your Area or Division Contest.
