District 26 - Serving Colorado, Wyoming and Western Nebraska

Greetings District 26,

We are well into the swing of things with new club growth and new leads emerging frequently.

Two clubs were chartered in August 2018:

Yellowstone Toastmasters # 06495629, charter date 08/03/18
Eilorators Toastmasters #06992459, charter date 08/20/18

That’s 2 down and 23 more to go, so how do we get there?

I’m glad you asked.

Area Directors, one way to achieved distinguished status is to ensure no net loss of clubs in your area. Of course, we will sadly lose some clubs, but the best way to ensure no net loss and positive net growth is growing clubs in your areas.

Area Directors, particularly those of you nearing distinguished toastmaster (DTM) status, I want to encourage you to think about starting your own club in your own area. You’ll get double the reward, positive net growth and club sponsor credit!

As aforementioned, if you are nearing DTM status and need to receive credit as a sponsor, coach or mentor, please contact me directly at CDG1819[at]nulld26leaders.org.

Back to new leads emerging frequently, one way to get in the ground floor with a club is helping out at Kickoff/Demonstration meetings where we show prospective groups what a Toastmasters meeting really looks like. Sounds exciting right? Well, if you like to be a volunteer for such meetings, please contact me, at CDG1819[at]nulld26leaders.org.

Also, I have been adding the Kickoff Meetings to the District 26 calendar, which is accessible here.
