Speaker Bio:
With my family of four, we came from the Ukraine in 1999, after living for awhile in Germany and England. I am a scientist by education and first employment, now software engineer by trade, and an entrepreneur in my bones. I had two private software companies in the Ukraine. Currently, with my wife Luda, we work for Boeing corporation, where I am a technical lead of a software project that allowed the first time in aviation history to load the data to the cockpit over the internet.
We have two daughters, who graduated already - one from Harvard, and another from Tufts. The first is doing her PhD in philosophy in Brown University, and the second is a "ruthless capitalist shark", working as an analyst in JPMorgan Investment Bank in New York.
I am very excited about opportunities for improvement Toastmasters provide. Since I joined Toastmasters in October 2006, my life changed for better in many ways. I found many friends, improved my speaking and listening skills (my wife appreciates it very much), became better leader and, I hope, better person in general, because I understand people now much better than in 2006.
All these new skills allowed me to start new business in financial services and in wellness area. I help people to achieve their dream by first getting rid of financial pressure and then improving all other aspects of their lives through healthy life style and through taping into inexhaustible creative potential each of us is provided "free of charge".
In my life I tried many things and had many successes. For several years I was even a part time mountain guide and rescue team member. I also was among best decathlon athletes in the Ukraine and competitive rock climber. Today my other interests include self-development, hiking, mountain biking, reading and writing. I am finishing my first book about our family history. |

|
|

Skilled captain takes care about his crew safety, navigates by the sun, stars, instruments, or just gut feelings. He can move the ship even against unfavorable winds. Are you sailing or just drifting? Nick took control of his ship on the way to the wealth and he will share with you how to become a captain too. |

9) Accent on the Immigration
|
|
Description: Immigrants have drive and different experiences that give them an edge. I know first hand the challenges a newcomer faces. The current level of prosperity can serve as a motivation for the newcomers and as a pacifier after the certain level of comfort is achieved. Yet, every person and every organization can benefit from tapping into the human creative potential, whether the person is a recent immigrant or not. |

There is a way to get through the barrier of preconceived objections and achieve the closing for mutual satisfaction. I found how to do it and boosted my sales. |
