Speaker Bio:
Nancy Brooks is the minister of Union Congregation United Church of Christ in Buffalo, Wyoming. She has three teenagers. She loves history and adventure. When she interviewed at Buffalo and saw the Big Horn mountains, she was hooked. She loves country western music and long walks with her dog Millie. |

Description: This speech centers around Wyoming history. I portray Cowgirl Nan. I dress very western and have an antique saloon chair that I work with during the speech. The speech is on Doc Middleton, luckiest horse thief of the west. It also is about Cattle Kate and the Johnson County Cattle War. I insert western jokes along the way. |

Description: I am a minister and I find that people do not think I am a real person. So armed with humor, I go about my vocation. This is a talk on the humorous aspects of my ministry with some pathos thrown in. |

Toastmasters Experience:
I have been in Toastmasters for three years. It has helped me to have more confidence, improve my listening skills and to approach speaking with enthusiasm, humor and wit. I am president of our club and now area governor. |
