Speaker Bio:
Karen has been speaking and training since 2006, and has given talks and run seminars on communication skills all over North America in that time. She has earned three Bachelor degrees (mathematical statistics and operational research, chiropractic and metaphysical studies) and is very close to her Master degree in metaphysical studies. Karen was born in England, grew up in Asia and now lives in Livermore, CO with her husband Steve. They have traveled extensively over 5 continents, from 100 feet under water to 14,000 feet up in the mountains and just about everything in between. Together they run a company called Awakening Insight that focuses on training passionate entrepreneurs in various aspects of business. |

Toastmasters Experience:
Karen has been a toastmaster since February 2007 and is on track for CC by the end of 2007. She is currently the VP of Education for her club and has run an education breakout session at the 2007 District 26 Fall Conference. She loves Toastmasters and is actively involved in making her club more fun with themed meetings and more well known with articles in the local paper. |
