Speaker Bio:
Dirk has been an avid member of Toastmasters for over 12 years. He has created a variety of presentations. They range from two-hour speeches with attendance of 130 to one-hour workshops for 20. He earned his masters degree in Marketing from San Diego State University. He currently runs his own business selling electronic filing cabinets with a diversified clientele. He enjoys the outdoors and watching his daughters excel in gymnastics and cheerleading.

2) Get Paperless: Surviving the Ocean of Paper

Description: How does a company deal with the ocean of paper? What is lost when documents are destroyed? How much time is being spent pushing the paper? This presentation helps you understand the virtues of getting paperless and how it is done. Handouts, PowerPoint and Demonstrations included.

3) Process vs. Content: Are your learning skills honed?

Description: To study content is, in many instances, the same as giving someone a fish. To study the process allows one to insert any content and therefore learn to fish. This is all about evaluating the problem and determining what to learn, the process or the content.

4) Creative Thinking, the Workshop

Description: This workshop implements the use of Story Boards, Creative Thinking and Critical Thinking to solve problems. The idea is to think outside of the box and come up with as many ideas as possible... then determine if the idea is actually feasible. A unique approach yielding substantial results.

Toastmasters Experience:
Mr. Kittredge has been a member of Toastmasters since 1992. He has been a member of six different clubs from California to Colorado. Within the Toastmasters' organization, he has held many officer positions including educational vice president, vice president of membership and secretary. Dirk has presented at the Toastmaster Leadership Institute and outside organizations such as Microsoft and the Association of Purchasing Managers. He founded the Five Star Club in Thornton which is currently working towards charter strength. He is also the current President of the Front Range Club in Thornton
