District 26 Toastmasters 2016-2017 Incentives

Members Sponsor New Members: Sponsor 5, 10, or 15 new members by June 30th. To receive sponsor credit your name must appear on the back side of the membership application

Complete 3 Educational Awards: complete 3 or more educational awards (CC, ACB, ACS, ACG, CL, ALB, ALS, DTM or HPL) between July 1 and June 2016 Earn name recognition on toastmasters.org
Club Coach: Coach a club to Distinguished club by May 1st Earn $25 District Dollars gift certificate which much be used by June10 + name recognition on D26Toastmasters.org
Visit 5 Clubs: Visit 5 clubs with less than 12 members, and submit name of club officer talked with, and one key learning report to District Director  by Mar 31 Earn recognition within District Dialogue and receive a tote bag
Clubs Smedley Award Membership Drive: Recruit 5 new members between August 1st to September 30th Smedley Award ribbon from Toastmasters International  + club recognition on toastmasters.org + club recognition in District Dialogue
Talk Up Toastmasters Membership Drive: Recruit 5 new members between February 1st to March 30th Talk Up Toastmasters ribbon from Toastmasters International + club recognition on toastmasters.org + club recognition in District Dialogue
Beat the Clock Membership Drive: Recruit 5 new members between May 1st to June 30th Beat the Clock ribbon from Toastmasters International + club recognition on toastmasters.org + club recognition in District Dialogue
District 26 Member Retention Award:  Earn two consecutive membership awards (Smedley Award – Talk Up Toastmasters, Talk up Toastmasters – Beat the Clock, or Beat the Clock- Smedley awards), then retain those same 10 members during the next renewal period. May start in one Toastmasters program year and end during the next program year. Earn $25 District Dollars which must be used by the renewal period (30 April, 30 October) following the award
Area Directors Area Visit Awards: Complete all club visits and file all area visit reports by the following schedule for round 1 and round 2 reports. If visit is completed by a third person, then the Area Director must meet with that person, and submit the area report online themselves.

August 31st and February 28th 

Earn gold medallion award

September 30th and March 31st 

Earn silver medallion award

October 31st and April 30th 

Earn bronze medallion award
Division Directors Membership Dues: All clubs within all Areas within the Division have paid membership dues in March/April. For Division Directors who recruit a Payments Prowler volunteer both the Division Director and the Payments Prowler will receive a medallion. A Payments Prowler is a District 26 volunteer who works with the Divisions clubs to encourage on time payments listed below.

 March 31st 

Earn engraved gold medallion award.

April 10th 

Earn engraved silver medallion award.

April 31st

Earn engraved bronze medallion award.
Healthy Division: Divisions ending the year with 50% + 1 of the division’s base clubs earning Distinguished Club or better, with no net loss clubs. Earn a plaque for the Divisions accomplishment and receive recognition on the Districts website and in the District Dialogue.

Club Retention Coordinators Club Retention Challenge: Any Division Club Retention Coordinator who assists in the assignment of Club Coaches within their division. They will initiate contact with eligible clubs to insure club is agreeable to a coach and assist in finding a coach for struggling club. Toastmasters phone charger

Club Coach Chair Retention and Training Challenge: Initiate, track and confirm training of all newly assigned Coaches from July 1, 2016 through June 30, 2017. Work with Division Club Retention Coordinators to achieve success

Club Extension Coordinator New Club Challenge: Any Division Club Extension Coordinator who assists with the chartering the designated number of new clubs in their division from introduction to Charter by June 15, 2017. Toastmasters phone charger

New Club Charters New Club Charter Challenge: Clubs who charter by the dates listed below will receive district wide recognition and a club banner.

 

Charter by March 31, 2017

 

Earn club banner, recognition on District website, in District Dialogue, and in Spring Conference Program. Includes use of company logo, if the logo is supplied.

Charter by June 30, 2017

 

Earn club banner, recognition on District website, in District Dialogue, and in June TLI programs. Includes use of company logo, if the logo is supplied.
