There's no need to call in advance unless you plan to arrive as part of a group of 5 or more (so we can be sure to have enough chairs). We meet every 1st, 2nd and 4th Thursdays except ones that fall on major holidays.

We ask that visitors arrive by 11:50 a.m. so we can welcome you and get you seated before the meeting starts. Meetings start promptly at 12:00 p.m. Meetings end at 1:00 p.m.

We meet at the YWCA, 2222 14th St Boulder in Boulder, Colorado

As a visitor, you'll be given an opportunity to volunteer to participate in the Table Topics part of the meeting – giving a 30-second to 2-minute response to a question. (Try it...it's fun!)

Club membership varies from month to month. We typically have 9-20 members, split about 50% female 50% male, ranging in age from 30's to 50's, and with a mix of new members and very experienced ones. We pride ourselves on our ability to help newer members achieve their goals with the club's strong mentoring and evaluation skills and a very supportive and humor-spiced environment.

You will not be pressured to join our club. We encourage you to visit as many clubs as you like, and Loquacious Lunch Bunch as often as you like, until you feel comfortable in selecting a club.

"I initially joined Toastmasters because I wanted to polish my public speaking and presentation skills. Soon after, I began a job seach and found that including Toastmasters truly enhanced my resume. Organizations always are looking for candidates with excellent speaking and communication skills, no matter what field of work.

"I especially like the Loquacious Lunch Bunch club because the members are very supportive and always enthusiastic. It is a small, informal club which allows me speaking and participation opportunities at every meeting. I feel I can be myself at this club, which gives me a lot of confidence. Although I naturally am a bit of a "ham", I still get jitters every time I must speak in front of a group. But the more I get up in front of the group, the less jittery I get. Even more importantly, I always have fun at the meetings!
