Welcome to Downtown Toastmasters With almost twenty clubs in the El Paso County area, we are honored that you chose to join Downtown Toastmasters. Our club was chartered in 1983 as the Downtown Club. As a Toastmasters club, we exist to "to provide a mutually supportive and positive learning environment in which every member has the opportunity to develop communication and leadership skills, which in turn foster self-confidence and personal growth." The success of a Toastmasters club program is built on the educational program, the participation of club members, and your personal desire to succeed. We can assist with the tools, support, and encouragement...you must provide the drive to achieve your goals. We have developed this online new member orientation to familiarize you with the program and your club. Let us know if you have additional questions. See you are the lectern! Ken Guentert
