Nominations for 2018-2019 District 26 Offices 

Elected District Officers

Elected District Officers receive credit towards their Advanced Leader Silver (ALS) educational award when they actively serve 12 months. The 2018-2019 District Offices will be filled via elections during the Business Meeting at the Spring 2018 District 26 conference.

The District Leadership Committee (DLC) is pleased to announce the Nomination for Candidates for the 2018-2019 offices in now open. Candidates wishing to run for elected office must submit their applications on or before December 15, 2017.  Candidates must meet all qualifications and submit all completed forms to be rendered eligible for nomination. Stay tuned for the link to see the DLC Nominees and their candidate experience in April 2018:

The Elected Positions are as follows:

       Executive Leadership

  • District Director
  • Program Quality Director
  • Club Growth Director

      Senior Level Leadership

  • Denver Division Director
  • Eastern Division Director
  • Foothills Division Director
  • Metro Division Director
  • Northern Division Director
  • Southern Division Director
  • Urban Division Director

Qualified candidates may run-from-the-floor during the Business Meeting.

Candidates running for an elected position from the floor at the Annual Business Meeting held at District 26 Spring Conference on May 20, 2018 are responsible for proving they meet the requirements in the Candidate Application. To summarize, Floor Candidates need to submit the following.
  1. Proof of membership in good standing in a club in good standing via a screen capture from Toastmasters International on your profile.
  2. Proof of offices held as per the requirement for the desired office. A screen capture from Toastmasters International form your profile Offices Held.
  3. Complete and sign the Officer Agreement & Release Form.

Appointed (Non-elected) District Officers

Appointed District Officers receive credit towards their Advanced Leader Silver (ALS) educational award when they actively serve 12 months. The following District Officer positions are available for the 2018-2019 Toastmaster year. The incoming District Director will appoint candidates to the various positions.

        Mid-Level Leadership

Area Director: 40 positions

  • Denver: 6 Area Directors
  • Eastern: 7 Area Directors
  • Foothills: 8 Area Directors
  • Metro: 5 Area Directors
  • Northern: 4 Area Directors
  • Southern: 6 Area Directors

The following Appointed District Leadership positions do not receive education credit for serving. These awesome District Leaders have a passion for Toastmasters. Nominations and applications must be submitted using the designated forms (listed below) to Immediate Past District Director (IPDD) Darryle Brown, DTM, District Leadership Committee Chair, via e-mail: IPDD1718@D26Leaders.org

Please read the Call for Nomination to learn more about elected and appointed District Officer Positions. When submitting a nomination please download, fill in, and email all four  forms:

  1. Candidate Application (Note: the new form requires a photo and a list offices held to be sent with the application. Please send head/shoulder picture. The list of your offices held go to www.toastmasters.org and click on MyToastmasters.)

Special Notes:

Candidates for elected positions, recommended to the District Director, will be announced no later than April 6, 2018

Candidates for appointed positions will be provided to the incoming District Director who will make the final selections following the election.

Candidate Application – Toastmasters International form which candidates complete and submit to apply for District Officer positions. Remember to send  a head/shouders picuture with the application and the printout from Toastmasters International of the offices you have held.
